EXCEL LEARNING SERVICES was started in 1987 by Dr. Beemer and Dr. Dunn to help individuals acquire the knowledge, develop the skills and master the techniques and strategies for effective, efficient test-taking and learning.

Dr. Beemer works with individuals who have various learning issues -

ineffective study skills
inadequate attention management capabilities
processing difficulties
anxiety issues
motivation deficits.

In working with her clients, she has two major goals:
1. Show students how to overcome present problems interfering with learning.
2. Help individuals develop strategic approaches for life-long learning.

Dr. Dunn works with students who want to:

maximize their test scores (PSAT, SAT, and others)
read with greater speed, comprehension and recall
write with greater clarity, depth and impact

Realizing that individuals are at different places with respect to test-taking, reading, and writing skills, Dr. Dunn assists students in assessing their current status and developing the strategic approaches and skills necessary for goal attainment.
